HM&M Representing 27 Survivors of Christian Brothers Sex Abuse

As reported in multiple news outlets, we at HM&M are currently representing 27 men who survived abuse at the hands of predatory and pedophile priests serving Catholic schools operated by the Irish Christian Brothers.

The Irish Christian Brothers filed for bankruptcy in April of 2011. The bankruptcy court set August 1, 2012 as the deadline for victims of abuse at Christian Brothers schools to file claims against the order.

The majority of the abuse was perpetrated by three serial sexual predators in the order who preyed on young boys for decades. Instead of contacting the authorities, or removing these men from positions where they would have access to children, Irish Christian Brothers officials quietly transferred the abusers to different schools. Thus, in every instance, the pedophiles were able to continue perpetrating their crimes on children elsewhere. As a trial lawyer at [[title]], I am very proud to be representing these courageous men who came forward to seek justice for the life-altering abuse they endured.
